Virtual Sessions with Shalama

Do you want to feel at peace in your body and actually enjoy a healthy lifestyle? For my clients, losing weight and getting in shape doesn’t have to mean hours in the gym or bland meals. I train busy people to help them save time and get the results they really want.

Empowering You to Achieve Your Goals on Your Own Terms

Give yourself permission to stop chasing the “perfect” diet or workout plan. Instead, harness the power of nutrition science, psychology, and exercise physiology to transform your body and your mindset… and get results that last!

Currently, I see clients online anywhere in the United States.

First, set up a free consultation with me. We’ll go over your goals, your health history, your current challenges, and what kind of support you’re looking for. Once you get started with a plan, we’ll schedule Teams/Zoom calls at regular intervals (usually every two weeks), and you’ll have workout and nutrition assignments between them. You have unlimited messaging to ask questions and reach out for help, too!

I mainly train women over 35. I love working with women in life transitions, including perimenopause and menopause. During these times, it often feels like what “used to work” has failed you. I can help you create new strategies that are simple and effective to reclaim your body.

I am a Certified Personal Trainer (WITS/ACE), TRX Suspension Trainer and Nutrition Coach (ISSA). I’m also a runner, health writer, amateur bikini bodybuilder, travel enthusiast, and a long-term “weight loss success story” myself.

I use evidence-based strategies, stay up to date with the latest research, and care about my clients’ success and overall wellness.

I don’t use specific diets or elimination plans, and I’m not married to a particular food lifestyle. I coach plant-based eaters, omnivores, pescatarians, and everything in between. My focus with clients is to adapt “best practices” (what we see work over and over again in research) to the individual’s unique lifestyle, needs, and challenges.

I coach nutrition for health, weight loss, improved body composition, fueling, and an improved relationship with food (including feeling less hungry). I do not work with clients who are seeking clinical nutrition help for conditions like diabetes, cancer, or IBS.
